I Hate Being A Sicky....
....Especially on a gorgeous, sunny (and windy..whew!) day like today. It's just unbearable really. Good news is though I've stopped coughing up a storm and my nose isn't as runny. Yay!
UPDATE: I did some research on-line (good ol' Google!) and found out that the Vancouver Theatre Sports League holds drop-in Improv sessions over at the False Creek Community Centre. How awesome is that?! They're also taking in applications for their Improviser Training Program this year. So what's my game plan, you ask? Well... I think I'm going to go see what the drop-in classes are like first. After all, I'm either going to be a total natural (riiiight...) or a complete dud when it comes to "improvising". If I'm the former (hoping), then I'm definitely submitting an application form for the program. I know it'll be well worth it!
I also found some other great acting schools that are right here in Vancouver! Most of them though deal with film/tv acting so I'm not sure if I should invest in any of them just yet. The downside to these schools is that they're pretty pricey for the amount of classes they offer. The upside about their programs is that they all can accomodate my work schedule. *le sigh* We shall see, we shall see...
Anyhoo, I should probably get back to my work. I'm pretty sure I can get into trouble for blogging when I should be "working". Hehehe... Oh and speaking of work, I've got an interview lined up on Thursday for a possible part-time position in another department. Keeping my fingers crossed!
