Candy is dandy, but liquor is quicker. - Ogden Nash

Today is my one day off for the next 3 weeks. Thank God it's sunny! WooOOoOOOo!

I had an audition lined up for last weekend but I ended up missing it.
Sucks to my ass-mar...

I've decided to try giving up sugar for 31 days. I started on April 17, 2006. It's been good so far. I'm still having fruit, y'know, natural sugar. That's okay, I'm pretty sure. Although, I had completely forgotten that NESTEA is pure sugar and I was still drinking that. I had become so accustomed to it. And I figured, how bad can it be? Well, apparently, it can be ve-ry bad. So now comes the REAL-ÜBER challenge: give up Nestea. Gaaaaah! I bought one of those Nalgene agua bottles yesterday. I must've drank three litres of water in 1 hour yesterday cos I was sooo craving iced tea.

Also, the thing about drinking a lot of h2o is that you have to go to the bathroom every ten seconds. I swear, I knew how it felt to be my grandma, always taking a pee.

Speaking of which, I have to go pee now. Gaaaaah! After that, I'm off to have lunch with a friend and to visit Mae in Surrey. Fun times, fun times.

Ciao for now!

Talking Leads to Touching and Touching Leads to Sex

All too true my friends, all too true. The funniest thing happened today.

Mae and I had lunch at her kuya's apartment today. As we were leaving and waiting for the elevators, we heard a scream of some sort. I then say to Mae, "Hey did you hear that?" I thought it was a little kid shouting from one of the apartments. Well, apparently Mae had heard something but it wasn't a scream, and she didn't want to admit it at first. So then she just looked at me and all of a sudden, we hear this woman scream, "OOOH YES!" I looked at Mae in complete and utter disbelief. The woman screamed again and we both wanted to burst out laughing but we were too shocked! The woman kept going and she kept getting louder too, saying, "YES! AGAIN! OH OH OH YES!"

So there we were, waiting for the elevator, and this woman is screaming in pleasurable ecstacy. I thought, "This...is....awkward." When we finally got on the elevator, we were both like "Hurry up Mr. Elevator!" When the door finally closed, Mae and I were laughing so hard we were crying! Walking out of the lobby, Mae says, "Man, that guy must've been reeeeally good." (Which made us howl with laughter even more!) We'd like to give that apartment the benefit of the doubt and hope that they were just watching a very "vivid" movie. (Mmmmhmmmmm....)

Anyway, the point of my blog? No sex in the champagne room, lovelies. Mwahaahahahaahahaa!

Plum Tuckered Out!

Well, it's definitely been awhile since I updated. Let's see...

The past few weeks have been über crazy! I'm slowly settling into LAI life, picking up shifts at various branches and on different divisions at the Central library. I'm also applying for the LAII position next week. I'm movin' up fast, eh? Oh and they offered me a full-time LAI position over at the Renfrew branch but I decided to turn it down. In the end, I didn't really want to shelve books full-time. Besides, if I keep working with Events AND as an LAI, I'll be making more moo-lah. Yeeeeeeah!

Last night, I went to the Metric concert. It was SOOO FRIKKIN' AWESOME!!! Check out their video for Dead Disco below. Also, I've totally fallen in love with Panurge and Islands. They're pretty awesome bands too. All in all, the night was filled with good music, good friends and some pretty good-lookin' boys. Hahahahahaa!

I also went to Seattle, WA last weekend. Now THAT roadtrip was a lot of fun. I'll post the pics up soon, once I get them uploaded. I shopped, bonded with my girls and experienced Seattle nightlife. It was definitely a much-needed, relaxing, hassle-free weekend. Hehehehe.... For my next trip, I'll be heading further down to Fremont, California to visit my Bestest. WoOOoOOoOoO!

Anyway, as for my theatre/acting dream, it's on hold for now. I think I'll just keep on working until I feel like I've saved up enough money for it. I'm also thinking of heading over to Europe later this year so it might be better for me not to be in school until next year. Who knows though, eh?

Alright, I must get back to work. After that, I can enjoy the sunshine. Yay!

Smoochies!
