TRICK OR TREAT?

Well, in my case, I would prefer to trick, but I'm sick. I must've caught it from Tree cos she was the last sicky I saw. :P Teeheeheehee....

A bunch of us went out on Sunday night to dance the night away as a pre-Hallowe'en thingy. It was goooood times! We went to The Royal and ended up being the only ones there. Sad? On the contrary, my dear Watson, it was a blast! We totally owned the place. The DJ was pretty good and all of our song requests got played, too. Woot! And when you're all liquored up, any place can be a fun place...right? *wink* Afterwards, we decided to hit up The Buffalo Club just to have a look at the mechanical bull-riding machine they've got set up on Sunday nights. Tree's friend Amanda decided to have a go at it. I would've too if I wasn't wearing a skirt that night. Hehehehe... At 2am, we decided to call it a night. Good thing too cos it was starting to get pretty chilly outside. All in all, I think we all had a pretty fun time.

As for this evening, I have class until 9pm so I'm not even sure if I'll be able to enjoy the Hallowe'en festivities. Plus, I'm such a sicky right now, it's not even funny. We shall see... For those of you who will be out and about on this ghoulish evening, please take care of yourselves. If you're going trick-or-treating, make sure you dress warmly and don't eat any candies that are unwrapped, no matter how yummy they look.

Happy Hallowe'en!

UPDATE:

I didn't get the part in that show with VADA (The Boys Next Door). *le sigh* It's all good though. I got to meet Grace Park from Battlestar Gallactica! It turns out that she's playing the lead female role in that play. She was über nice. And Jason just about died when I told him...hahaha.

On an even lighter night, one of my friends will be teaching in some acting workshops, so I think I'll have a go at that.

And since I love this cover song by Matt Weddle (fr. Obadiah Parker) so much, I'll keep it as my Video of the Month for November. Check it out below kiddies!

Another day, another dollar.

Okay, so the next time I decide to drink and stay out late with my buddies, I'm going to make sure that I don't have work early the next morning. As it stands today though, I'm a little hungover at work, I've got an audition for a show in about two hours and then I have to book it to New West for a group project. Oy vey! Woe is me, woe-is-me.....

On a lighter note, Tree's back home in Canada. Yay! She surprised us all by showing up and randomly calling all of us on Wednesday afternoon, from her parents' house! It was a very welcomed surprised. You can check out Tree's blog at
www.gorgeousfootsteps.blogspot.com. Welcome home, Tree!

Also, I'll be leaving for Toronto on Wednesday to visit my friend Lillian, who's graduating from York University. I'm sooo excited because (a) I haven't seen Lillian in almost three years and (b) I haven't been to Toronto since I was knee-high to a duck! It'll definitely be a fun-filled trip.

Yikes, I can't believe it's October! Halloween is just around the corner. I still have no idea what kind of costume I'll wear, but whatever it'll be, it must be original. Just like everybody else's. Hahahahaa....

Anyway, check out my new video of the month. It's a cover of OutKast's "Hey Ya". This guy is fabulous! I really want to learn how to play his version of the song because it's genius. Pure genius. Enjoy it!

UPDATE!

So, about the audition... It went pretty well, but it wasn't one of those auditions that I felt über great about. I'll just have to wait and see. I did have an audition with The Players Club over at UBC last week as well and although I didn't get cast in that show, they did say that I was shortlisted in their top 10 auditions. I felt a lot more confident about that particular audition than this one, too. I'm also thinking of taking this 2-week Intensive Acting course with the Vancouver Academy of Dramatic Arts. I'm not sure how it goes just yet but I'm in the process of finding out. More on that later....
