Craaaazy Busy!
Alright, where do I begin? 2007, for me, started out with a BANG!
I went to the Incubus concert at the Q.E. as mentioned in my previous post. It was breathtaking. *sigh* They sound amazing live! Unfortunately, I don't have any pics yet but once I get them, I'll definitely be posting them up for all to see. They are definitely a talented bunch of fellas. If you get a chance to see them live, pleasepleaseplease do!! You won't regret it. If you're not into that genre of music, you'll still like it. Trust me!
I've also applied to Langara for their Acting program. I have to pay for my application this week though in order for it to be valid. Heeheehee... If they approve my application, then I have to wait to get an audition for Studio 58 in April. Soo many hoops to jump through, which does not help my nerves whatsoever. Part of me is also wanting to apply to the NTSC out in Montréal, but I don't know how I'll be able to pull THAT off. I don't even know anybody out there, let alone have enough money to support myself while I'm in school full-time and not making any money. Gaaahh! Hurdles!!
Anyway, I figure the only way to overcome these things is to go at 'em one at a time. IF, God forbid, they come at me all at once, then I say BRING IT.
As for this semester, I'm still at Dougie Daycare but now I'm taking a Creative Writing workshop that focuses on Personal Narrative. So far, it's great! I've never participated in a workshop before so this is a very new experience for me. There's a really positive atmosphere though, so I'm not too worried about it.
This weekend, I'll be heading to Whistler to try snowboarding for the first time. Boom baby! Also, it's going to be Ana's 23rd berfday so we'll be celebratin' all weekend. Woot! Other than that, I've got a paper due for my class that I'm trying to get done. (Keyword: trying!) And then in February, I'll be visiting Tree in Cal-gary with Cat and Jojo. With the four of us together, there'll be fun times ahead, you can count on that.
