40th Blog Celebration!!!

That's right, folks. I've reached a milestone in this gi-normous, wide world of the web. It's official: this is my 40th blog! So, now I must write something intelligent and witty to make this reading material "worthwhile". Let's see...

I'm 22 years old now. And I've only just realised that to be afraid of doing something, ANYTHING, just because you're scared of falling flat on your face is fruitless. If you trip in this crazy fashion runway called Life, you just have to pick yourself up again and keep strutting your stuff like the supermodel that you are. (If anybody saw that Sex & The City episode, it was awesome!) In the end, what matters is that you tried. That you put yourself out there. Nobody can take that away from you.

As for my own fashion runway, I'm going to keep strutting my stuff all the way to theatre school. And I have to start by getting two reference letters from a couple of directors that I've worked with in the past. Gaahhh! It should be easy as one, two, three... right? Well, not exactly. One thing I've learned in the theatre world is that it is never that easy to get a hold of people or get together with them when you want to. Not the greatest thing, but I guess that's just the way the cookie crumbles. *le sigh* I'll keep you posted. In the meantime, I'm going to keep plugging away at Philosophy. I also have to start thinking about what to take next semester. So many decisions... But you know something? I love it!

Do not be afraid that your life will end; Be afraid that it will never begin.
