Candy is dandy, but liquor is quicker. - Ogden Nash

Today is my one day off for the next 3 weeks. Thank God it's sunny! WooOOoOOOo!

I had an audition lined up for last weekend but I ended up missing it.
Sucks to my ass-mar...

I've decided to try giving up sugar for 31 days. I started on April 17, 2006. It's been good so far. I'm still having fruit, y'know, natural sugar. That's okay, I'm pretty sure. Although, I had completely forgotten that NESTEA is pure sugar and I was still drinking that. I had become so accustomed to it. And I figured, how bad can it be? Well, apparently, it can be ve-ry bad. So now comes the REAL-ÜBER challenge: give up Nestea. Gaaaaah! I bought one of those Nalgene agua bottles yesterday. I must've drank three litres of water in 1 hour yesterday cos I was sooo craving iced tea.

Also, the thing about drinking a lot of h2o is that you have to go to the bathroom every ten seconds. I swear, I knew how it felt to be my grandma, always taking a pee.

Speaking of which, I have to go pee now. Gaaaaah! After that, I'm off to have lunch with a friend and to visit Mae in Surrey. Fun times, fun times.

Ciao for now!

Good for you! It is hard to give up sugar.. it's extremely, extreeemely addictive, but giving up everything else, sans the nestea is still admirable.

Try adding some slices of lemon/lime into your nalgene.. its a nice change from plain water.

I'd never survive giving up sugar. I could prbly give up alcohol much more easily.

Remember when you girls paid me like 51 cents to eat a handful of sugar at that nunnery in Quebec?

One word: XYLITOL!!!! It's a natural sweetener. Paul used to use it, it's sweet in a licoricey way, if I remember correctly. Can find it at Famous Foods on Kingsway and such hippie hangouts ;)

And I must say I burst out laughing in the net cafe after reading your last blog...I don't think there's much chance they were watching a very vivid movie......bwahahahahahah!

Haha, well, hypothetically speaking the nearest airport is at Shannon. I doubt there's direct flights from places, like, oh, Vancouver, but there are connectors from main airports, ie Heathrow.
Cheers & beers, ciao.
