If you can't beat 'em, join 'em!
For six (6) months, I lasted without having....a mobile. To be honest, it felt very liberating. People couldn't get a hold of me and it was great! Muuuhaahahaha!I realized, however, that not having a mobile phone nowadays keeps you out of the loop. And while I don't mind it sometimes, it's kind of nice to know when things are happening so you can at least pretend like you have a social life.
And so, I give you my new phone (above, right). It's actually quite nice and I got a pretty good corporate deal cos of where I work. I'm definitely not looking forward to the monthly payments, but it must be done. *le sigh* Here's hoping that I'm making a good investment.
As for work, it's been crazy-busy! I'm working seven (7) days a week so I haven't really been able to enjoy the sunshine much. Although, yesterday, Cat and I were able to go shopping along Robson. Afterwards, we headed to Surrey to have dinner with Mae. It was an ab-fab evening!
Tomorrow, I'm going to see Seussical: The Musical over at the Evergreen Cultural Centre and then go dancing afterwards. Yeeeeeah!
I do hope this weather lasts. It's just absolutely gorgeous today. I'm off to spend my lunch on the rooftop of our building. Today is definitely the perfect day for it.
Keep on truckin'!
